Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) performance is a core value and a fundamental requirement of every operation at Great Lakes Wellhead, Inc. Safety is a condition of employment and a responsibility shared by every employee. 

We are committed to protecting our personnel, our customers, and the environments in which we operate through disciplined execution, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

All employees are empowered with Stop Work Authority and are expected to intervene whenever unsafe conditions or behaviors are identified. 

HSE Leadership 

Tyler Henfling – HSE Director 

Our leadership team is actively accountable for setting expectations, providing resources, and ensuring compliance across all operations. Clear roles and responsibilities are defined to ensure accountability at all levels of the organization. 

HSE performance is regularly reviewed at the executive level to drive continuous improvement and maintain alignment with industry standards. 

HSE Performance & Continuous Improvement 

Great Lakes Wellhead is committed to maintaining strong safety performance through proactive risk management, employee engagement and disciplined execution. 

Our HSE performance is continuously monitored and evaluated through industry-recognized platforms, including ISNetworld, PEC Safety, and Veriforce. We utilize these systems, along with internal audits and leadership reviews, to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure alignment with customer and regulatory expectations. 

We are committed to continuous improvement and maintaining safety performance that meets or exceeds industry standards. 

HSE Management System

Our HSE program is built on a structured management system designed to systematically identify, mitigate, and control risk across all operations. Key components include: 

1 Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and hazard identification processes 

2 Stop Work Authority empowering all employees to intervene 

3 Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) observation program 

4 Incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis 

5 Preventative maintenance and equipment integrity programs 

6 Regulatory compliance and documentation management 

7 Continuous improvement through audits, inspections, and performance reviews

Field Safety Practices 

Safety is integrated into every phase of our work, from planning through execution. Our field practices include: 

1 Daily Job Safety Analyses (JSA) conducted prior to all field activities 

2 Pre-job planning and safety meetings to define scope, hazards, and mitigation measures 

3 Standardized Job Authorization & Management (JAM) process to document job scope, assign qualified personnel, and verify safety and compliance requirements prior to execution 

4 Routine toolbox talks reinforcing hazard awareness and safe work practices 5 Field audits and supervisory oversight to ensure adherence to procedures and safety expectations 6 Equipment inspection, function testing, and verification prior to use 

7 Stop Work Authority actively reinforced, empowering all personnel to halt operations when unsafe conditions are identified 

HSE considerations are integrated into each day, every meeting, every design, and every job review.
